U.S. House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes sent letters to several current and former federal government officials asking about the unverified Trump-Russia dossier produced by Christopher Steele of Fusion GPS, The Daily Caller News Foundation reported on Tuesday.
In the letters, Nunes submitted 10 questions asking how they handled the dossier. Nunes threatened subpoenas if they don’t answer in a timely manner.
The identities of the recipients are redacted from the letter.
“If you do not provide timely answers on a voluntary process, the Committee will initiate compulsory process,” he wrote.
