Debbie Wasserman Schultz Proposes Bullet Control

The Ammunition Background Check Act was introduced by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) in the House and Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) in the Senate on Monday.

The legislation would require anyone trying to buy bullets to be subjected to National Instant Background Check System (NICS).

“You do not have the right to bear bullets,” said Congresswoman and former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz at a press conference Monday.
