Feb. 16 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of The Heritage Foundation. For its 25th anniversary in 1998, Heritage published in book form a collection of essays, “Leadership for America: The Principles of Conservatism,” edited by Heritage founder Edwin J. Feulner. One of those essays is the transcript of a speech delivered 25 years ago this month in Palm Beach, Florida, by Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas.
