Protesters at an Islamic event in Dearborn, Michigan, late last week chanted “death to America!” and “death to Israel!” on the six month anniversary of Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack on Israel.
The protesters in Dearborn, which has been labeled as “America’s Jihad Capitol”, gathered for International Al-Quds Day — a day that exists to remind the Islamic world of their opposition to Israel and the U.S.
Michigan activist Tarek Bazzi, who is affiliated with the Hadi Institute, said: “We have been asked in the past why our protests on the International Al-Quds Day are so anti-America. Why don’t we just focus on Israel and not talk so much about America? Gaza has shown the entire world why there protests are so anti-America. Because it’s the United States government that provides the funds for all of the atrocities that we just heard about.”
