RFK Jr., After Calling Biden-Harris A ‘Threat To Democracy,’ Asks Kamala For Cabinet Position

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a lifelong Democrat, has reportedly sought to join a potential Kamala Harris presidential administration as a Cabinet secretary in exchange for throwing his support behind her campaign.

Kennedy, whose campaign as an independent has cratered after registering some interest at the start of the primary season, said earlier this year that the Biden-Harris administration was a “much worse threat to democracy” than Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

He noted that the Biden-Harris administration was the first in history to weaponize federal agencies against their opponents.

“We’ve reached out repeatedly through the highest level intermediaries,” RFK told The New York Times in a text message. “We’ve been told that they have no interest in talking with me.”
