As the father of a gaggle of kids who cannot get enough of the ingenious Denmark-based LEGO toys, I always assumed that the only danger presented by the tiny, interlocking plastic blocks is to a parent’s bare foot. Apparently I have been shamefully ignorant of the threat they pose to my children’s gender fluidity.
The UK Telegraph reports that the group of UK museums known as the Science Museum offers a self-guided tour called “Seeing Things Queerly” in which one can explore “stories of queer communities, experiences and identities.” The tour is the creation of a group of staff and volunteers called the Gender and Sexuality Network at the museum.
