Democratic billionaire backers and a conglomeration of the left-wing media elite gathered in DC’s swanky the Wharf neighborhood to plot a new media apparatus and address the party’s failures, according to Semafor’s Max Tani.
A group that included reps from megadonor George Soros‘s Soros Fund Management and executives from Crooked Media — the media outlet incubated by former Obama admin flaks — gathered at the offices of Laurene Powell Jobs to strategize on how their media efforts failed in 2024, according to Semafor, citing three sources with knowledge of the event.
