It is staggering. Nearly every day there are new headlines concerning the outright fraud that DOGE has uncovered. Over ten million dead Social Security recipients have been unearthed. Multiple contracts have been examined, with allegations that the US is funding a DEI grant for $265K for Queens College in New York to research why BIPOC teens” read Japanese comic books.
Not to mention the inexplicable expenditures overseas, including a $3.4M State Dept management consulting contract for “aviation advisors in Kenya”. A running account has been provided and to date, DOGE examinations have resulted in a savings of $140 billion.
As fundamentally necessary to the smooth functioning of the state that such a scrutiny of expenditures may be, the fact remains that certain allocations of monies, as yet not unearthed or publicized, go directly to the much vaunted protections of liberties and rights.
