Former President Donald Trump has widened his national lead over President Joe Biden to four points.
In a just-released Emerson College Polling survey, Trump has maintained his 47% support while Biden has dropped from 45% to 43%.
Spencer Kimball, executive director of the poll, said early Wednesday, “Last November, Biden led Trump by four points, whereas this November, he trails Trump by four. Several key groups have shifted in the past year: Biden led at this time last year among women by seven points, which has reduced to a point this year.”
It is the latest of a string of surveys showing Trump leading Biden, who turned 81 this week. Trump also towers over Republican primary challengers.
