Tens of thousands of anti-Israel protesters are expected to march through Chicago this week in demonstrations targeting the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
Roughly 100,000 protesters are expected to take part in seven marches and rallies across the city as the Democratic Party holds its convention where Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to become the official Democratic nominee for president. A number of unpermitted rallies are expected to take place, as well, according to the New York Post.
The DNC will begin Monday and run through Thursday as Democrats hope to unite the party behind its new nominee, Harris, who took over after President Joe Biden departed from the race.
