Colin Kaepernick seeks return to ‘slave auction’ of NFL

Notorious former quarterback Colin Kaepernick has tried yet again to make a return to the NFL, this time with the New York Jets. His agent contacted the club after star QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending injury on Monday, however they were reportedly not interested.

Kaepernick, whose off-the-field antics garnered more attention than his plays, hasn’t thrown a pass in the NFL since 2016. Since then, he has repeatedly bashed the league and its practices, even going so far as to compare certain aspects to slavery.

During the Jets’ opening game, Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon. When the news broke, many began speculating as to who would replace the four-time MVP, and before too long Kaepernick’s name was thrown into the mix.
