Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) attacked the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the largest pro-Israel PAC, on Tuesday, calling the organization “racist” for highlighting her voting record.
“AIPAC endorsed scores of Jan 6th insurrectionists. They are no friend to American democracy,” she wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “They are one of the more racist and bigoted PACs in Congress as well, who disproportionately target members of color.”
“They are an extremist organization that destabilizes US democracy,” she claimed.

AIPAC, which includes 3 million members across every congressional district, supports a slate of pro-Israel policies. Its corresponding PAC endorses candidates across party affiliation, including both Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and many other prominent politicians.
